Will I receive a certificate?
Yes you will once you have completed the ten day tattoo course we will assess your skills after this period to see if you are at the required standard acceptable by the college.
Do you teach how to run a tattoo business also?
We just don’t teach you how to tattoo,we teach you how to run a successful tattoo studio,if anyone thinks its just a case of knowing how to tattoo and throwing open the doors of a new studio,then think again,there really is so much more to it.
Are there savings by learning to tattoo in Ireland as opposed to the UK?
So here’s a breakdown of the estimated costs, which we felt were too high for UK tattoo courses.

Tattoo Course between £sterling 1500- £sterling 2000
2 weeks accommodation £sterling 400- £sterling 600
Food/drinks £sterling 400- £sterling 500 minimum
And then another £sterling 200-300 miscellaneous
You’re roughly looking at around £sterling 3,500 and this is before traveling expenses. If you’re converting from euros to sterling then you’re looking in the region of 5000 euros.
And if you compare this to coming to Ireland to do one of our courses, it was a no brainer for us to not proceed with the tattoo courses in London and show people the savings that can be made coming to beautiful Ireland.
Will I get a chance to experience working in a real tattoo shop?
Each student will also get to spend a Saturday in Living Art Tattoo studio where you will be shown hands on how a successful studio is run i.e. how to arrange you appointment schedule, deal with nervous clients etc.
How far is the nearest airport?
We are 15mins from Shannon International airport.
Is Limerick expensive for accommodation and eating out?
2 weeks accommodation( b&bs and hotels are quite cheap in Limerick compared to london) somewhere between 300 and 400 euros should be possible and we will put you in contact with hotels that will offer a reduced rate. Eating out is very cheap in Limerick City for example, Living Art is next door to The Savoy a 5* hotel and their basement restaurant Hamptons serve a gorgeous lunch menu for 10 euros, so 300-400 euros should see you right for food and drinks for 2weeks depending on your appetite.
And 200-300 euros for miscellaneous.
So that’s a monster saving of over 2000 euros, so now everybody knows why it was a no brainer!! Also if you come over from the UK, all you have to do is a quick currency convert and see big the savings you’ll make.
Will I get a tattoo kit on completing the course?
We do not sell gimmicky tattoo kits,we put you in contact with our suppliers (tried and tested) so you start off your career the best way possible, at the end of the day if you have sub standard equipment then you will be putting out sub standard tattoos.
Are there many students in each tattoo course?
Living Art Tattoo Studio courses have a maximum of 5 students per class.

We have been teaching for over 20 years and love it.

Classes will take place in a modern office space overlooking Living Art Tattoo Studio with a maximum of 5 students per class.
